A brand new sports bar with Sky and BT, showing all the latest action LIVE. We take sports very seriously here at The Old Brewery, boasting three large TVs, one huge projector screen and four smaller TVs with their own little booths. Full table service is available throughout the big matches, ask at the bar for more details. We also have a spacious function room for those all important business meetings and a separate VIP area for those big occasions. There is something for everyone with our food and drinks, including cocktails, sharer plates, gluten-free, vegetarian and the lovers of Gin and Whisky. We even have outside seating for when those warmer nights start drawing longer.

    Went for a valentines meal - a 3 course meal for £35. Oh my goodness, the food was divine! Have been to the chequers several times and this was the best meal I’ve ever had there. I had mussels for a starter - a huge portion and went for the Cornish Market fish for my main. It was sea bass with kale and samphire and the most delicious crunchy roast potatoes. It was in a lemon/cream sauce. It was amazing. Passion fruit cheesecake to finish. Also very good. Staff were very attentive. The front of house staff are a credit to the establishment. Great place and to see the pub bar area so busy with locals was fantastic when you see so many pubs closing down. Thoroughly recommend.

    We came here for lunch yesterday nothing to complain about food was delicious team were friendly. Very clean pub large area to the back of the building would recommend
