Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. We arrived and the place was overrun with people waiting for a table but we got a drink and were seated in the main dining just over a half hour. Service was excellent, portions are large, and the food was delicious. Steak for 3 could serve 4 or 5 people. Flavor of each dish was very tasty. I enjoyed lobster bisque and Cesar salad, and appetizer crab cakes, which had almost no filler. Leftovers are good too. Christmas Eve success.

Always a delicious meal! The dips and pita were fresh and creamy. The filet mignon kabobs and rice with dried cherries and pistachios was perfectly cooked and the rice was fragrant and tasty. Service is always excellent but not obtrusive
