- EEdwardVIPHouston •55 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy table had a wonderful time at Toulouse tonight, and I feel I should review some of the many positive things we experienced. The biggest win of the night was our waiter, Bryan. The guy was perfection as a waiter. My date and I are both OpenTable VIPs who know excellent service, and we agreed that the service experience was perhaps the best of the year. Bryan answered our detailed food questions, adapted to our crazy idiosyncratic requests, kept the drinks going on a busy Saturday night, and coordinated the valet at the end of our meal so the car was ready when we headed out. Flawless! The food here is excellent. The bread service features some of the best butter in town, so I recommend you start there. After the bread service, we continued with an order of lobster mini-tacos and the fromage cheese plate. We both got seafood specials for entree (scallops for me; sea bass for her). The $75 asking price for each entree special includes top ingredients like truffles, truffle oil, etc. I loved it and trust that you will, too.More infoToulouse - HoustonPrice: Expensive• French• River Oaks•4.8

- NNancyVIPHouston •49 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoChef Giancarlo and his beautiful wife Lisa have created a neighborhood gem where one feels like family instead of unknown diner. The Profumata salad is as delicious as it is pretty, the "Roman-style" lamb chops flavor to die for, pastas and risottos perfect, and last night's special Dover Sole was ethereal. The waitstaff are friendly and knowledgable and make the dining experience warm and inviting. Always such a pleasure coming here!More infoAmalfi Ristorante Italiano & BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Galleria / Uptown•4.9

It was amazing as always. Juan Carlos took great care of us and the manager Marcos ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of also. The food and service never disappoints! Thank you! - JJulieHouston •3 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 30, 2024We went to Fuad's Restaurant the last day of HRW, just to try it out. They had a large selection to choose from and the food was very good. The staff was very attentive and the live music was not so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talking (big plus!). We felt like this was a neighborhood bar/restaurant. Very cozy and welcoming. We do have plans on going again.More infoFuad's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Galleria / Uptown•4.4
