- MMathewVIPOxford/Oxfordshire •121 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 23, 2025Charming traditional pub with a proper bar and tables, and a cosy wood-burning stove. High quality ingredients well made into tasty dishes. Tempura prawns were fresh, firm and juicy, and clearly made from scratch in the kitchen. Lamb shank roast with all the trimmings was a great Sunday treat.More infoThe Shilton Rose & CrownPrice: Moderate• Pub• Burford•4.9
- HHeidiBristol •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 18, 2025We were originally seated by a door which was letting in a draft . We asked to be moved. A young waiter was asked. He really didn’t want to move us despite there being several no shows. He went over to another member of staff and said “you sort it, they want to move” it was really rude. Food was ok…… lacked seasoning and despite menu sounding impressive it isn’t quite there yet.More infoMinster Mill Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• British• Witney•3.7
- AAnonBedfordshire •25 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 21, 2024The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.More infoThe Lamb at BucklandPrice: Expensive• British• Buckland Marsh•4.4
