- AAnelaHawaii •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe tables are spaced inches apart. It’s like you’re sharing a meal with the strangers you’re sitting next to. The pork ragu is my go-to. Twice fried chicken wasn’t a hit with my gf tho. The drinks are fancy and great if you like the taste of alcohol. We had reservations and got seated early. The location is gross so I wouldn’t eat outside. Inside is LOUD and crowded. I love this place. It’s a bit pricey but worth it.More infoFêtePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Honolulu•4.8
- OOffice ManagerSeattle / Eastern Washington •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food is amazing! Delicious Korean cuisine that is elevated via different types of seasoning and accompanying sides. Love the open air lanai with the spacious yard outside of it. An oasis in the middle of Chinatown. Very good service; we received excellent recommendations that fit our party’s needs. Will definitely come back to this one-of-a-kind eatery.More infoO'KimsPrice: Moderate• Korean• Downtown•4.6
- PPamHawaii •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPodmore is one of my favorite downtown restaurants. The decor is attractive, with comfortable dark green velvet booths and granite tables. The brunch is excellent. The food is well prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. I had the Morning Harvest Hash and loved it. The service was good and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I’ve never been disappointed when I dine here.More infoPodmorePrice: Expensive• Comfort Food• Honolulu•4.8
- PPeterVIPHawaii •21 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoSean provided fantastic service! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience! I had to send back my gumbo soup because it’s too salty… Sean immediately replaced it with a salad. The steak and lobster were cooked perfectly!More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - Downtown HonoluluPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Honolulu•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerHawaii •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 12, 2025This was our first experience and a special event (72nd birthday!). We had heard many good things about the restaurant and enjoy the downstairs restaurant Nico's Pier 38 with the same chef. A couple of hours before our reservation we were called by the restaurant inquiring if we would like a special seating at the Chef's Counter overlooking the kitchen. We accepted as we enjoy cooking. We were greeted by the bar staff who took great care of us throughout the meal. The executive chef came out to greet us and presented us an amuse bouche of a grilled pork belly with a wonderful sauce and charred leek - it was superb. Our cocktails included A Girl Named Ginger which was very tasty and refreshing, and a traditional mai tai, also delicious. The Spanish octopus as an appetizer was portioned generously enough for sharing. We had the Kona Kampachi and the fish of the day (Mongchong), both done perfectly and excellent choices. Before the entrees, the executive chef brought us a uncooked cacao pod to savor the sweet seeds. Then after the entrees, he returned with what looked like two uncooked, inverted cacao pod halves, but flipped them over to reveal a chocolate mousse inside that tasted decadent. Overall, a memorable evening , meal and experience. Typically, a meal like this would cost a fortune, but the food and drinks seemed very affordable leaving me room for a generous tip to the staff.More infoUpstairs at Pier 38Price: Expensive• Steak• Kalihi-Palama•4.6
