We are a small, family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in carefully sourced Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail.Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Beef is selected, prepared and hung for us by Award wining "John Gilmour" of Macmerry master butchers since 1946. Fresh fish are delivered daily by Calum Sinclair and J.K Thompsons. West coast Mussels are delivered fresh daily by "Sea Mcgee". Our venison comes from wild Perthshire deer, lamb from the Scottish Borders. Really delicious food with complex & adventurous flavours delivered on point. Skua is a really special hidden gem with a great considered vibe which presents as both chilled & authentic. Cosy, dark, intimate & stylish with the best tunes ! The small ish menu is ambitious and exciting- we could have ordered almost everything. Stand out dish was oysters, served at the perfect temperature and tasted like the sea air blowing through grassy sand dunes. 🩷 Great wine list and cocktails selection.

The service was really good, the music was not loud but they turned it down as we were sitting under the speaker. The food was delicious especially the chips I will recommend to friends and will definitely be booking again
