- FFernandoNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe restaurant’s interior is stunning, but for larger groups, you may be seated in an outdoor area. While the outdoor space is decent, it doesn’t quite match the ambiance of the inside. It is equipped with space heaters, but it was still a bit chilly during our visit. We requested to be moved indoors, and the staff was very accommodating, relocating us inside as space allowed. This, of course, depends on availability, and we were fortunate that there was room for our group of eight. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special by providing a birthday card for my niece and presenting her cake with a candle. The food was, as always, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant 100%!More infoTavern on the GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7

But for the main dining room, I prefer going for lunch. They have a $25 lunch special that includes their famous rump steak and a side, but I went for the $45 option. I got the beet salad in a yogurt dressing, which was delicious, and the rump steak with fries (chips) and side salad. The steak was nicely charred on the outside and pink in the middle — a tad salty, but still quite tasty. And of course I got the Hawksmoor Martini, with Ford's Gin, which was served ice cold with olives on the side. A hell of an accompaniment! The room is beautiful and the service was friendly and efficient. I'd recommend the company too, but I'm not sure my dining companion would want to go here with everyone who reads this.More infoHawksmoor NYCPrice: Very Expensive• American• Gramercy Park•4.5
- RRitaNew York City •66 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA wide variety of tasty small plates and accompanying wines. We especially enjoyed the Fideos, Arroz, and Razor Clams. Both the server and the sommelier were very knowledgeable and steered our table to good choices. The only minor drawback is that the space is tight and the lighting dim - a disservice to seeing the well plated dishes.More infoCasa MonoPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Union Square•4.7

The chef who taught us about pasta was funny yet informative; the atmosphere was cozy; the staff was friendly and attentive; and the food was delicious. The process was easy to understand and very well organized. What a great date and a wonderful way to start the new year. Highly highly highly recommend! :)More infoAunt Jake's Pasta ExperiencePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Upper East Side•4.9
