Our seats were comfortable and allowed us plenty of room and it was perfectly regulated for heat as it was a very cold night. We started with drinks and it was clear they take pride in making a delicious and memorable beverage. Our appetizer and main entree was outstanding and the desserts are the perfect ending to a lovely evening out. It wasn’t that typical rushed and inattentive holiday experience. The octopus was tender. I ordered a ribeye. It arrived overcooked (reality is this can happen). Our server went above and beyond. Got me a new one and took care of a round of drinks. Thank you. The second steak was perfect. The wood grill adds a smokiness to the meat that’s unmatched. There was a small group of diners at the restaurant which we appreciated as it was not busy and the noise level was low. We shared a caesar salad and complimentary bread rolls which were warm. He had the haddock classic entree while I had the crab and shrimp classic. Dessert was molten chocolate cake with ice cream. Our server Jess Knight did a fantastic job - was appropriately attentive and answered all my questions about the menu!
