Best Date Night Restaurants in Congress Park

Absolutely fantastic dinner. We were seated quickly and our food came out very quickly. Drinks were delicious. They had left us a card for anniversary and all of the staff signed it, it was really sweet. We were so excited about the Wagyu sliders that we forgot to take a picture. The bacon wrapped dates were 10 out of 10 in the boa buns were perfect. The vibe was great and the place was packed. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Excellent. Ambience was superb and our server Joanne was professional and fun at the same time, taking good care of the 4 of us. We highly recommend the crispy tuna sushi, and the octopus. Fresh, innovative and delicious. The Filet Flight was amazing and worth every penny. It featured prime, wagyu, and grass-fed 4 oz filets. We were welcomed warmly and greeted by friend Pastry Chef Ryan Walker who made sure we had a selection of signature cookies, the six layer carrot cake and more. Overall an outstanding evening from start to finish. Good creative cocktails. Interesting and delicious apps and flavor packed entrees combines with excellent service made for a wonderful evening. We ordered too much, but as first timers wanted to try as much as possible. Followed our server’s recommendations and glad we did as he recommended things we wouldn’t consider. Like the beef ravioli small plate. Don’t let the name deter you, the flavors are incredible! We had the tuna tartare instead of the ceviche and it was wonderful. The shaking beef entree was another one we would not have considered and it is off the chart good. The eggplant small plate was also memorable. A little coconut pineapple upside down cake and we called it a wonderful evening!

We sat at the counter and really enjoyed chatting with the chef throughout our meal. It felt like we were hanging out at his house, eating at the kitchen island while he cooked. The chef recommended the camote asado, callo de hacha al horno, enmoladas de pollo, and the taco de suadero. Our favorite bites were the enmoladas de pollo and the taco de suadero. The tortillas and sauces are so good! We also had the birria de borrego which was really good but not quite worth the price compared to the other dishes we enjoyed.
