Best Date Night Restaurants in Midwood

A phenomenal time every option we chose was delicious and I can see why this place is always so packed the food was top tear the shrimp tacos, the king crab & lobster rolls both didn’t disappoint. The sea bass tempura was a beauty. The king crab California roll was fresh and tasty. I would go there again and devour them all. We were waited on by Roman and he was so kind and helpful. He pushed for us to get sushi even tho they said it wasn’t available. I’d ask for him again simply bc of that alone. He checked on us often so we never felt abandoned and all of our request was met. The manger came by and jokes with us and even told us his zodiac sign (a Leo) it was a perfect time. My two girlfriends and I had a splendid dinner experience and are already planning another visit.

I took two colleagues to Café Mars for a business dinner. The comfortable booth salons with the sensitive and attentive service allowed us to talk freely. The drinks and food were off-the-charts fabulous. They made the business discussions that much more fun and productive. We started with 3 “snacks” … pizza slice anchovies, antipasto bomb and inside-out Chicago beef. All three were flavorful, amazingly creative and wonderfully presented. These bites complimented the cocktails, including the deeply flavored Giardiniera martini. Indeed, since the Giardiniera is a key ingredient in the Chicago beef snack, the match was downright perfect! The chefs and bartenders sure work well together. Our three pastas were equally inspired, including the lemony curls, the Genoa tuna waves, and the more traditional Brooklyn Sunday gravy … but with triangle-shaped penne and meat cubes, instead of balls! A modern pivot! We finished with the deconstructed Philly pork sandwich. The flavors were right out of the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, but the careful execution and beautiful presentation made them pop! It couldn’t have been a better dinner! Amazing night at F&F!! Incredible food, beautiful ambiance, great service. Great value selections on their wine list. We ordered 4 pizzas and they were all incredible. If you venture to the small plates section, we really enjoyed the arancini and big green salad.

As usual we are never disappointed and the service from Joe and other wait staff is exemplary and outstanding

I really enjoy dining at Mera, everyone is so friendly. The ambiance is amazing and the vibe is chill, cocktails are as amazing as the bartender who makes them! Food is great amazing selection to choose from will be returning (If I don’t go I call for carry out)
