Chef Luciano Canova was born in 1949, on a small farm just outside of Rome, Italy. Chef Luciano grew up with his parents & grandparents where good food, using the freshest of ingredients, was always a staple. His passion for food was instilled in him as a small child in his home and led him to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of Italy. After graduating, Luciano worked all around the world perfecting his craft in places like Switzerland, Germany, and on a luxury cruise line.  The Torre Restaurant Group family of restaurants has grown to serve customers throughout Southern New England with authentic Italian food. We relied on the guidance of our wonderful bartender for food choices and were so grateful for her knowledge! The food was wonderful and creative. We also enjoyed the Wine Symposium — a flight of very different wines from Crete. It was a really fun evening!!

We booked our reservation to catch the very ornate Christmas decorations the restaurant sets up. The menu is classic Italian with a nice variety of drinks, wines, appetizers and entrées. We had the crab cakes Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Parmesan. The food was well prepared and delicious! The pastas are made fresh on site, which makes a wonderful difference. We closed out our meal with Creme Brulé and cappuccinos. A wonderful meal in a beautiful location

This is a consistently good restaurant. The servers are outstanding. The food is very good quality and the prices are very fair. Always enjoy the atmosphere as well.
