Pizzeria Gusto is Oklahoma City's first Neapolitan pizza restaurant. We are located in the historic Uptown district near 23rd Street and Walker Avenue. Our Executive Chef Kathryn Mathis brings her forty years culinary experience and innovative vision to the restaurant. Stefano Ferarra oven, that we use, was hand-built in Naples. We import our tomatoes, flour and other fine ingredients from Italy. In addition to amazing pizzas, we feature a great selection of sharable small plates, appetizers, salads and made from scratch desserts.Our bar features 11 beers on tap, along with a great assortment of bottled craft beers, wine and cutting edge cocktails.     We knew what to expect from reading reviews, and our first experience at Takaramono was amazing. The food was flavorful, service was excellent, and we look forward to our next visit. The plates are small and much like tapas size. Plan to order a couple of appetizers and 3-4 entrees for 2 people. We ordered 6 as there was 4 of us. It’s a bit pricey, but the experience is great and worth the spend. Enjoy!

    Absolutely a great experience! The food and service were both top notch. The only problem was when a young couple was seated next to us while we were finishing our meal. He was so drenched in cologne that it too difficult to stay. This was certainly not the fault of the restaurant. It was way too cold to seat them on the patio. We simply ordered our desert to go. We highly recommended Frida Southwest.

    What a nice surprise dinner on a business trip to OKC. The Paseo area of town looked pretty cool and possibly nice to stroll had the weather been warmer. The restaurant itself was great. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Felt comfortable. The sheer curtains hanging at the table were sorta odd but looked odder in photos than reality. Not sure they were necessary but then I was with a coworker and not a date. Food was fantastic! Loved the mushroom soup! Whole mushrooms in a delicious, creamy soup! Octopus appetizer… WOW! Really nice. Very tender. Not rubbery or chewy at all. Nice size for two to share. My duck was perfect! Substituted fried green beans for the sautéed green beans and they were really good! (Sorry no food pics since I was with a coworker!)

    Setting is a truly grand space - magnificent ceiling, marble columns, historic murals - within the old National Bank. Tellers nevertheless feels relaxed and special at the same time. Menu is mostly Italian cuisine, but also featured a delicious (and reasonably priced!) filet mignon. Short rib rigatoni was also very tasty! Service from our waiter, Ben, was professional and friendly! A great choice in OKC!!
