Aptly named, the farmer, butcher, and chef collaborate to discuss the available cuts of meat, which are featured in our hearty Butcher’s Boards and a constantly changing seasonal menu.Awarded two AA Rosette's, it has a relaxed atmosphere with quintessentially British interiors by Leveson Design. With a bar and beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy live music and BBQs throughout the summer months, alongside a full calendar of events, the restaurant is a space to enjoy exceptional food with friends, family and dogs are very welcome too.Goodwood has been farmed by the Dukes of Richmond for over 300 years. Susan, Duchess of Richmond was one of the Soil Association’s earliest members. Her belief in organic food and animal welfare were instrumental in Goodwood Home Farm becoming the first 100% organically fed dairy in the country.

A great Sunday lunchtime experience. All the bar and waiting staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We had the roast beef and roast lamb which were perfectly cooked, melt in the mouth. Accompanying veggies all tasty and a generous portion too. Look forward to coming back again.

It is an awesome restaurant with excellent food and service from the entire team! My brother and his partner were visiting from Ireland so I really wanted a nice pub to gather the whole family together and this was the perfect place. We were a group of 8 and had a lovely meal together. I couldn't believe how good the Sunday roast was! Service with a smile, beautiful interior of the pub with ample space and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning. Spencer

The first time we visited the Cat I said “this is the nicest pub I’ve ever been to. Today was the same - the most striking first impression is the team who run the dining areas: they obviously enjoy what they’re doing and love working together with a happy buzz. And the food is delicious, the venison haunch especially. Looking forward to eating here again soon - Nigel and the birthday party.

Wonderful dinner to celebrate my Dad’s birthday. Good very good, service great. Lots of the wines were sold out limiting choice to higher priced options but we still had an excellent and memorable time.
