Best Family Style Restaurants in ByWard Market

We enjoyed an early Saturday evening dinner. The oysters were delicious, the scallops and kingfish starters yummy. The steak/frites was done medium rare with skinny crisps fries just as they should be. All paired with wines that went wonderfully with the food (albeit they are pricey $$$).

Just walking in the aromas start to hit you and then as the food comes each bite was a treat for the taste buds. The service staff were lovely and attentive. The food was Devine and despite the neighbourhood and the look of the building from the outside. It is absolitely beautiful on the incite. A very modern twist with those classic Indian flavours. And don't worry about the spice. They were able to tone it right down for those that wanted that.

Excellent meal as always. The food is delicious. We ordered pita with whipped feta, shrimp, half haloumi salad, half chicken and EVOO fries. Absolute perfection! We brought home some and the smell of it being re-heated immediately took me back to our delicious meal. Highly recommend EVOO.

We met another couple and we were all very happy from beginning to end. The service and atmosphere were very nice. The sharing concept worked well and we all loved our choices of food. The restaurant has a welcoming, cozy atmosphere even though it has a large seating capacity. We are already looking forward to going back.

Delicious dinner shared with friends. We particularly enjoyed the devilled eggs, warmed olives, the beef tartare, the broccolini and the cocktails. The service was friendly and great!
