- HHannahCentral Kentucky •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoYou can get great service anywhere, but great hospitality is hard to come by. 10/10 dining experience. We just eloped and we're supposed to be out of town but due to a hiccup we ended up delaying that. We decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner. They really made it special by giving us an intimate table upstairs and a few other special touches. Our server was knowledgable (I asked a lot of questions) and friendly without being overbearing. Upon reading the reviews, I expected small portions but we left very full and wholly satisfied. It's important to keep in mind this isn't a regular dining experience but set up almost like you're building your own tasting menu. As a whole, it was a very special experience for us. The haricots verts and truffle gnocchi were my favorites!More infoBOCAPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Central Business District•4.9
- DDiannaVIPCincinnati / Dayton •36 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWow!! Aperture is yet another example of why Cincinnati is truly a foodie city. Very impressed with every not-so-little-detail Chef Jordan Anthony Brown put into this restaurant. The space is modern, yet intimate; the lighting is a perfect balance of mood and softness; even with a completely full restaurant, it was never loud; sitting next to the windows on a cold, rainy night, we never felt any temperature difference; the service from everyone was equally excellent, professional, friendly and attentive. Now, for the food. First, watching the chefs in the open kitchen was entertainment in itself. I could have watched this intimate look into the passion and precision of the preparing, creating, and plating each individual dish all night. Every dish we ordered was uniquely different in its presentation and flavor: simple, yet fresh, curious and delicious with combinations I have not previously encountered. The Fennel sausage pasta was perfect in its sauce distribution, flavor and al dente texture. The Stripped Bass delivered a flaky, crisp fish in an emulsion of light chowder-like sauce-Unexpectedly amazing. The simple fire-heated pita with the eggplant hummus was no less impressive. Thank you Chef Jordan Anthony Brown, and the people that work along side you to remind us how decadent and fun eating can be when made with love and dedication.More infoThe AperturePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Cincinnati•4.6
- KKevinCincinnati / Dayton •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHad a Valentine Day reservation for 8:30pm and arrived early. Waited about 10 minutes and was seated closed to 830pm. We had our drink order taken within 5 minutes of bein seated. We order off the Valentine Day menu and I order the 14 oz New York strip medium well and my wife ordered the barrel cut filet medium. The food came out prompt and the steak had great flavor. We also order 2 cakes (6 inches in diameter) chocolate and strawberry.More infoGreyhound TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Fort Mitchell•4.6
- BBonnieCincinnati / Dayton •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had our Valentine lunch at Oriental Wok and very happy with all the food. We started off with egg rolls and and Crab Rangoon. Next a cup of soup . We split an entree of Chicken Chow Mien. We have not had that in quite awhile and really enjoyed it . We split the chow mien and still have take home. I always enjoy our meals in Fort Mitchell and Hyde Park. Service was great.More infoOriental Wok - Ft.Mitchell, KYPrice: Moderate• Chinese• Fort Mitchell•4.9
- BBlakeCincinnati / Dayton •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWalked in, I was greeted in a very professional manner by a nice man. I was then walked to a table with my date, and then served water by a server. After this a separate server was explaining the menu to us, and we were told the most popular items. After given some time we put our order in and received our appetizer in a very timely manner. Shortly after finishing that, we then got our entrees, both delicious and extremely fresh. I might even say that in my 18 years of living this is the best meal I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m not even joking. We were then given a box (food was boxed for us and I didn’t even realize because the server we had was so quick and efficient). After this we got donuts and affogato and again, I was pleased to discover the dessert was just as good as the meal. 10/10 experience, setting was amazing, food was delicious, service was exemplary. Will definitely be back.More infoSottoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Central Business District•4.9
