Best Family Style Restaurants in El Segundo

We had a really great dinner Christmas Eve. We started with the baked oysters, the bread and sample apps. The oysters were cooked perfectly and the stiffing was tasty and added texture. The shrimp and oysters on the half shell were fresh and cold.the bread was warm and just enough. Out mains included a filet, beef stroganoff and scallops. Each dish was cooked as ordered. Of note was the stroganoff, which had a touch of spicy heat what was a pleasant surprise. Our server Jose was excellent, as were the cocktails and wine. Lastly, the Christmas decorations were simple and quite beautiful. We all had a great night! We will go back again (this was our second visit).

The food was amazing. It was very busy on the night that we went, but the staff was super friendly and they were working very hard and were apologetic for any delays. They did a great job overall.

Another tremendous dinner at this wonderful spot. Our server, Kim, was fantastic and had great recommendations. Faves were the Korean Spareribs and the lamb chops, but everything was great. Terrific evening.

All of the food we had was delicious! The ambiance and decor was great! We had a party of 6 and sat on the corner near the kitchen. Would’ve liked to sit somewhere else, but it was also nice to have a little private corner to be able to talk. The service was amazing, everyone was nice and attentive and helpful. Parking was tough since it’s Christmas weekend, but worth it! Would definitely come back.

Absolutely loved the ambience at Arthur J. The food was amazing, the Japanese Wagyu was outstanding. The service is absolutely top notch! Highly recommend.
