- EEmilyVIPWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI rarely write reviews but wanted to share this. This is a restaurant primarily attractive to a young crowd eager for the drink special in the prix fixe menu. When we arrived (7 months pregnant and two kids under 10) they immediately worked to seat us quickly, then dispensed with the prix fixe because it didn’t make sense for us since 3 out of 4 of us couldn’t drink. Love the thoughtfulness. Food came out quickly, hot, kid friendly pasta options without insane portions. Great option.More infoSan Marzano Pasta FrescaPrice: Moderate• Italian• East Village•4.5
- MMeganAtlanta Metro •11 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe arrived at our reservation early and they allowed us to go ahead and sit. Such a warm, friendly restaurant! The appetizers (delicata squash and meatball sliders) were delicious, as was the special ravioli, roast chicken, risotto, and all the desserts! The only underwhelming dish was the daily fish, but it really didn’t matter because everything else was so great. We felt super welcome, even with two young kids. Please go visit them if you want a special meal while in NYC!More infoLittle OwlPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• West Village•4.8
- AAliceVIPNew York City •57 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI'd heard good things about Hawksmoor, and it didn't disappoint. Although the server got off to a rocky start with a rattled-off, rushed list of offerings, the food was stellar and arrived in a timely fashion. We tried raw oysters, which were pristinely shucked, scallops on the half shell, caesar salad, and sourdough bread before digging into the mains. A rib chop that was succulent and tender alongside a porterhouse, seared to perfection, was devoured alongside lobster mac 'n cheese, spinach, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious, and the elegant room makes a grand backdrop for feasting.More infoHawksmoor NYCPrice: Very Expensive• American• Gramercy Park•4.5
- LLisaVIPNew York City •30 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe were so pleased with our first visit to Carmine's. My husband and I usually travel to NYC alone, and have never gone before because we heard how large the portions are - and they are NOT kidding. There were 7 of us for dinner, and we shared a Caesar Salad, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Rigatoni Bolognese, Eggplant Parm, Veal Scallopini, and Tiramisu and it was perfect portions. Only thing we took home was the Garlic Bread (which the 19-year-old scarfed down likely before it made it to the hotel fridge.) Paul our server was fantastic - happy to see our family reunion the day after Christmas with family from Myrtle Beach. The restaurant is crowded and loud, so expect that - but it's a fun environment and you can tell it's mostly families just having a great time. This dinner capped off a perfect day celebrating the 19-year-old's first Broadway Show.More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6
- MMollyCoastal Georgia •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024Dinner was so delicious! Service was great—really appreciate them making Christmas Eve so special! Very family friendly. We ordered an appetizer and then had one dish of the chicken Alfredo. It was literally the best I’ve ever had. It fed two adults and two children. The kids loved it and cleared their plates. Then we had the Italian cheesecake and hot fudge brownie. Both were great, definitely recommend the brownie.More infoTony's Di Napoli - MidtownPrice: Expensive• Italian• Theater District•4.8
