Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Hinsdale

Our group had the rainbow trout, the 1/2 chicken, the lamb loin & the 6oz filet. Every entree was cooked to perfection and very tasty. We also enjoyed the golden beet salad with goat cheese & the caramelized Brussel sprouts. Our server Jennifer was polite, promt & knowledgeable about the menu & wine.

We had a wonderful time at Capital Grill last night. Davis was exceptional…fun, attentive, knowledgeable…he gets MAX stars. Everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We look forward to coming back soon. Thank you!

Had the fantastic 5 course, $28 lunch special with Miso soup, salad, kimchi and Wagyu beef dumplings, Miso cod with white rice. It was wonderful AGAIN! I am starting to crave this great lunch! Lee, our server, did a great job for us on our lunch date.

We were regulars at the downtown Chicago restaurant until they regrettably closed. We were so looking forward to the new restaurant opening. We drove in rush hour traffic from Wilmette to Oak Brook, and were NOT disappointed. We were greeted by a very sweet hostess and shown to our table. Our waitress was Terre. She couldn’t have been more engaging and personable. The busser, Isisidro, made sure we had fresh water and plenty of bread. He was so friendly. The manager, Michael, came over to introduce himself. We had a nice conversation and he made us feel at home. My wife and I split a delightful Caesar salad. She had the Chilean Sea Bass, while I had the best lamb chops on the planet (so big I could only eat one). We split the Asparagus and the Crab Fried Rice. The fried rice is beyond this world. The Eddie V’s Oakbrook location is every bit as great as the Chicago location was. We’ll be sure to make the trek on a regular basis.

A overall XMas mood was evident with a large party in the main rooms. We had a nice table in the Merlot Room - the food, service and ambiance fantastic!
