Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike. Joseph Fall, the executive chef, oversees the food operations and is responsible for our crafting our signature dishes and creating daily specials. There are several wines by the glass to choose from and the wine list has nabbed an Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator.     Another wonderful meal at Johnny's and a fun night. We always like to sit in the bar area if it is Monday-Friday to listen to Mike Petrone play. He gets the crowd singing and is wonderful. The food is fabulous also. I had the beef short ribs and they melted in my mouth. Others had the crusted grouper and veal chop which was both excellent. Highly recommend.

    Dining here is an experience not to be rushed. Take advantage of the table side preparations that are offered. We loved the Parmesan pasta cart and the bananas foster was perfect! Treat yourself to a nice night out with wonderful food and immaculate service.

    One of the fine dining experiences in Cleveland. The Marriott hotel is very nice, but I stay at the Marriott when I come to Cleveland because of this restaurant.

    We’ve dined at Blue Point before over the years, but tonight was by far our favorite time. We took my daughter for our annual Christmas dinner and it could not have been more perfect. Our server, Hailie was so kind and attentive. She made the experience truly special for my daughter. Our appetizer, entrees and desserts were perfect. The Christmas decorations at Blue Point are second to none and elicit the ambiance of a Manhattan restaurant during and holidays. We cannot recommend Blue Point or our server Hailie highly enough.
