Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Louisville

We took out 11 year old son for his birthday and our 6 year old! They both has a great time and loved the food! They loved watching their food being prepared right in front of them!

I enjoyed The Bees Knees, Gin, honey syrup and lemon juice. Would recommend The deviled eggs for an appetizer were yummy. Shared a ceasar salad with the husband...a bit too lemony.. We then had the lollipop lamb chops , with creamed spinach, and the PEI mussels as an entree. Lamb chops were tasty, had more garlic than we cared for. Would have been better off ordering them as an appetizer. We didn't need that much food. Great service, its a beautiful restaurant. Next time we'll sit at the bar, which was packed when we arrived. I wasn't happy with our small table, and would have much rather of sat in the main dining area. I asked if we could switch our table, but we didn't seem to have a choice.

First time at Flagstaff House and it was really delightful! The ambiance is warm and inviting with excellent service. The four course meal was such a treat for the eyes and the tastebuds! We’ll definitely be back.

Not only was our server attentive, but other servers seemed to be watching the room to step in as appropriate. We were there early, and the friendly vibe made it feel like The Place to Be. Excellent wine by the glass explanation by the server with a selection I'll try to find to purchase for home use.
