Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Long Beach

The food was exceptional. We got the 18oz Porterhouse steak and it was delicious. So tender and flavorful. Our waiter, Gilberto was amazing. We genuinely felt the love from him. I brought my girlfriend (Now fiancé) here after proposing to her at the beach and our waiter was wonderful. He gave us all the best wishes and even a complimentary Crème Brûlée. Will definitely be back here. Best steakhouse in town hands down.

I love Nettuno! I always loved the experience of coming to the Sky Room but could not get a reservation for awhile, heard good things about Nettuno so decided to give it a try! I was not disappointed! Everything was amazing. We had the burrata appetizer, my SO had the osso bucco and I had the artichoke ravioli. Food was excellent! Also, we had to have the Tiramisu, and it totally lived up to the hype. Great ambience, great service. Some of my favorite restaurants are in Long Beach so there is a lot of competition, this restaurant holds up, we will be back.

The food was outstandingly fresh, high quality, and creatively prepared and served. The price fixe menu of many courses seemed to climb a bell curve, with the least interesting being the shrimp chip and dip starter ‘snack’ , climbing to a magnificent crescendo with the the scallop and mussel small plate, and an equally exquisite plate of the freshest sliced kampachi. Each plate was beautiful, graced with curated vegetables, flowers, and delicate sauces that completed, never overpowered. Our only complaint: we found the dessert disappointing in flavor, appearance and texture: a choux pastry ball with a heavy dull filling, sitting on top of a scatter of what resembled stale cocoa puff cereal pieces. I would have traded it for the rich creamy mascapone ice cream served earlier, sans the caviar topping. The service was outstanding: gracious, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and well orchestrated. Overall we had a fabulous dining experience, exceeding our highest expectations. In most every way, including price, dining here is a special occasion; we could not understand how or why most diners we observed were wearing gym clothes, T-shirts and jeans, sneakers, fuzzy slippers. What’s next: dining in our underwear? How about a dress code?!

Three of us had the Hangar Steak. Tender and great flavor. One had the Cod and he loved it , Our waiter was the best. Great night. Started off at the 1st floor lounge before dinner and then a night cap on the rooftop afterwards.

One of the best meals we have had this year! Food and service were both wonderful.
