The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. Perfect setting for Christmas Eve dinner. The prime rib, meatloaf wellington and the scallops were fabulous. You hit it out of the park on all counts from being greeted at the door and having a fabulous server. Kudos well done. We will be back.

Our visit to 801 Chophouse on Monday the 23rd of December was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we were greeted at the front desk to saying our goodbyes as we picked up our coats the experience was one of joy and delight. The staff was great. The quiet tone in the restaurant was inviting/comforting. The drinks hit the spot, including the Penicillin cocktail, which isn’t a “typical” beverage but was spot on. Our food was amazing and the steaks are some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you to the staff of 801 – Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We were hosting a small family gathering pre-Christmas show. Zelo was the perfect ‘appetizer’! It’s our favorite Minneapolis restaurant and never fails to impress. Food is delicious, ambience perfect and a special thank you to our server Erica who was the perfect mix of attentive without being intrusive.
