Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Greenlawn

Excellent , Superb, love Nino;s restaurants and food. So happy to have the Hay and Straw again... excellent all around!

Went there for dinner with friends for birthday celebration. We have been there many times but this time we were disappointed in several dishes and told manager who didn’t do anything. Later Juliet came over and took care of the situation. She listened to our complaint and handled the situation appropriately. She was professional and did the right thing to make us feel better about wanting to come back.

Our waiter, Michael , was very helpful in guiding us to our cocktail choices and explaining the menu. The tuna tartare was very fresh and abundant. The kettle chips were crispy and a great compliment to the tuna. The halibut was perfectly cooked, and tasted delightful with the mushrooms, shrimp, fingerling potatoes dressed in a lobster sauce. The pumpkin cocktail evoked the spirit of autumn. The bread pudding was elevated with blueberries and vanilla bean ice cream. All but the cocktail was part of the prix fixe menu. The restaurant was able to accommodate our large group of 15. The service and food was great - I would come back if I’m in town.

This was our second visit and it won't be our last! The prix-fix was a good value if you can get there during the week. Our waiter served my dessert with a birthday candle, which was a nice touch. Thank you!
