- AAndreaVIPPhiladelphia County •46 reviews5.0Dined todayBardea never disappoints. Service was superb … the best we have had yet - and we were a large party of 9. Drinks were kept filled without along. Food arrived in a timely manner. One of the most exceptional servers we have ever had! Food was lovely as always. The burrata puff pastry always delights. Meatballs were excellent - as was the sauce. Tomahawk steak cooked a perfect medium rare. Grilled king prawn perfection. Hot honey pizza again delicious. Spaghetti with clams spot on. Everyone loved the raviolis and potatoes. Consensus favorite dish … the cauliflower! This is our special occasion with a large group restaurant and it is always an exceptional experience.More infoBardea Food & DrinkPrice: Moderate• Italian• Wilmington•4.8
- RRichardVIPPhiladelphia County •73 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI think there may have been a substitute chef last night. Our boiled potatoes were hard, even after we sent them back the first time. They had the texture of steamed turnips. The order of fried Brussell sprouts served looked more like a bowl of charcoal. I was surprised they were even brought to the table. On the good side, the order of steamed Brussel sprouts was perfect as were the meatballs and eggplant parmigiana.More infoFava Ristorante ItalianoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Glen Mills•4.8
- TTomPhiladelphia County •27 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe knew Christmas Day dinner at Sullivan’s Steakhouse would be jamming as they were the only fine dining establishment around open all day. When we arrived at 1PM it was already 3/4s full. We were seated in the elevated section in the back where the private room is located although everything was open to accommodate all their guests. Malik was our head server and did an outstanding job in a stressed situation due to the large crowd with service assistance from Hunter and Brian. The old fashioned prepared by CJ was outstanding. We each had a shrimp cocktail (disappointing as these were NOT fine steakhouse quality - these were wet and long in the tooth), split a tasty Caesar salad. For our main course, we split a filet mignon on the bone, twin lobster tails, mashed potatoes (iced cold upon arrival & eventually removed from bill) and asparagus. Overall, a delightful meal. For a major holiday, they did a great job handling everything. We enjoyed the experience very much and will be back.More infoSullivan's Steakhouse - WilmingtonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Wilmington•4.5
- DDavidVIPPhiladelphia County •43 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWe were a party of eight with diverse food interests. Three people had the hanger steak and one person had filet mignon. The filet came out 10 minutes after all the other entrees. All the sides came out promptly except the Mac and cheesecake, which came out even after the filet. It happened to be the entree for the youngest member of our group, a 14 year old. At a high end restaurant like this, I resent the 3% surcharge being added to the bill. If a hanger steak costs $32 why not just charge $33. No one would object. Likewise if Mac and cheese costs $17 why not just charge $18.More infoBardea SteakPrice: Expensive• Italian• Wilmington•4.6
