Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Mesa

I went here for my 50th birthday, and it was my first time to eat here. The food was very good. My husband had the pork chop and I had the filet. Our server was very attentive and interactive. I'll admit the prices are a little high, but steakhouses can be pricey. My only complaint is that they charge you to use your credit card. Who carries that much cash around these days??

Absolutely delicious ribeye and some of the best butter whipped potatoes I've ever tasted. The wine was excellent, the service was top notch. The ambience was fantastic. Low lit, exposed brick, piano player in the corner. Definitely on the pricier side, but worth it. Will definitely be coming back.

Our server, Bre, was fantastic! She made our visit perfect. We had a teriyaki sirloin and peppercorn NY strip - both were cooked to perfection. We loved the choice of accompanying vegetables - beets and green beans. The Keg is one of our favorite places to dine, and they did not disappoint. Across from us was a table of 14 and it appeared that they were also receiving great service. The kitchen did a fantastic job in getting all of the meals out together. Great job!

My wife, and our son and his girlfriend, had dinner at Shimogamo Chandler to celebrate our son’s first job. For the first time, we ate at a table, instead of at the sushi counter. Our server, Micah, was terrific. She clearly knew the restaurant, the menu, the food and the drinks. We started with an excellent sake, Ippongi Daiichi Gitai, that was presented by the bar manager, Matt. We ordered a huge assortment of mostly nigiri sushi; Madai (Sea Bream), Mejina (Opaleye Nigiri), Kamasu (Barracuda Nigiri), Kinmedai (Goldeneye Snapper), Aji (Jack Mackerel), Umi Masu (Ocean Trout), Hotate (Sea Scallop), Anago (Sea Eel), Ama Ebi (Sweet Shrimp), Baja Uni (Sea Urchin Sashimi), Santa Barbara Uni (Sea Urchin Gunkan). Micah had the chefs course our fish selections perfectly. After the sushi, we had the Hatcho Miso Duck, Yuzu Mushroom and Fried Shishito Peppers. For dessert, my son and I tried the Harvest in Uji and Matcha Hai cocktails. Everything we had to eat and drink was delicious. If I had known that they had Kakigori (Japanese Shave Ice) for dessert, I would have saved room for it. That’s one more reason to return for another meal, I guess.

First time guests and we will return. Staff was friendly, reviewed the menu with us and made great recommendations. Excellent service and amazing food.
