All of the service staff are spectacular and I will continue to come back because of them and Roman and Chef. They treat us with kindness and are always so friendly and wonderful. I have enjoyed getting to know all of them and now their sons Alan and Daniel. Can't wait to join them again!More infoMarketPrice: Moderate• American• St. Helena•4.9

Food was delicious, Best gnocchi I have had - they were so light. We had crab cakes, burrata, salad with fillet and fries and a delicious crème brûlée. Connected with the Market next but a more intimate setting I felt.More infoThe SaintPrice: Moderate• American• St. Helena•4.3
- LLindaPhoenix / Arizona •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024We love supporting students. Dinner was exceptional in terms of quality and inventive menu options. Many dishes featured farm to table ingredients of highest quality. My Halibut Crudo was a work of art in presentation and was delicious. Risotto with preserved lemon had a delightfully brisk lemony tartness. Striped bass was great, and French apple tart with Frangipane was rich and luscious. I know their menu changes so options may be different. Truly the best dinner option in Napa valley that also supports the wonderful culinary students. Highly recommended! Our server, Logan was professional and a pleasure.More infoGatehouse Restaurant at The Culinary Institute of AmericaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• St. Helena•4.8
- BBobSan Francisco Bay Area •72 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024Great dining experience overall. Several of the courses were outstanding, including the black cod with buttery flesh and perfectly crispy skin. Most dishes had an excellent balance of salt, acid and spice with the occasional misstep such as the item billed as porcini and truffles but was no more than a bean and corn mess. The gnocchi supplement with white truffle needed salt and should have been 4x larger for the price. Shockingly small. Indeed most portions were too small and while I fully understand the desire to make it a tasting experience and serve up lots and lots of tasty small portions, these portions bordered on the obscenely small. But everything was beautifully presented and the service was very good - though not excellent (for example, for these prices, when my glass of water or wine is empty, it’s reasonable to expect that someone will be on it, and here they were at best slow to react). Worth it to try once, but in no hurry to return as no course (other than maybe the black cod) was too memorable.More infoAuroPrice: Very Expensive• American• Calistoga•4.9
