Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Bon Air

As always dinner at Amuse was absolutely delicious. My sister & I shared the Fried Oyster appetizer & we ordered the Scallops & the Mushroom Cassoulet. The appetizer was flavorful & cooked perfectly. The entrees were both a wonderful combination of complimentary flavors. The ambience was pretty quiet for a Thursday evening & the service was courteous & welcoming. As always it is a pleasure to dine at Amuse.

Overall, our dining experience was very good. The food was excellent. The burrata and toast bruschetta was really delicious. Both entrees, the Scottish Salmon and sweet potato pappardelle were very good and flavorful. The dessert, apple crisp was okay, but the spices used were a bit overwhelming. We will definitely return.

I had the lamb chops with mint and it was absolutely succulent. Very flavorful, it was served sizzling with butter. I am lactose intolerant but I always keep my "Lactaid" tablets with me so I can eat a little butter and no problems! I also had the house salad and it was absolutely delicious with their balsamic dressing. We got the grilled shrimp and they are a good size and very tasty.

Definitely a top-shelf experience in RVA. Our meal was outstanding and the best service in town! Highly recommended!

Truly a dining experience, not just a meal. We were seated upstairs in the bar area, our server was very attentive from the time we arrived, around both bar and food service. Knowledgeable about the menu, particularly around pairings (protein with sauce/compound butter, à la carte sides, and wines). Classic with a twist steakhouse menu in a beautiful historic building. Definitely on the favorites list. ❤️
