- JJulieSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Botanist was recommended to us by our nephew and since we were going to Vancouver we made reservations at the last minute. Brunch was the only meal available during our stay and we have zero regrets! The service was attentive, but not intrusive (shout out to Jess, who was friendly, professional and helpful - always able to answer our questions about ingredients and preparation style!). We opted for the full 3 courses and each was more impressive than the last. The aesthetics of each dish, the quality of the ingredients and the flavor profiles were absolutely delightful! Being able to enjoy the courses with a mimosa and a cocktail was a pleasant surprise, as well. And the drinks? Truly inspired! And then live DJ was a fun addition. We left feeling giddy, and it wasn't just the sparkling wine talking.... we felt welcomed, cared for and well-fed. Our experience at The Botanist was the perfect exclamation point on an already fabulous visit to Vancouver. We hope to be back again the next time we journey north ...More infoBotanistPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Coal Harbour•4.6

Our server was friendly and was training someone, which was no problem. Not a cheap dinner but tasty. All of the food prepared well. A super busy night but was able to get to concert on time as the server kept us on track to leave on time. I recommend as long as you can afford it.More infoThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar - DunsmuirPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.7

- HPHoracioPH1365Los Angeles •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis restaurant was recommended by a lot of people in Vancouver. The food was excellent, our server. Charlotte was extraordinary. The manager was very attentive and came to our table to make sure food. Allergies would not be an issue, and we really appreciate it that gesture. Yeah The only issue we had was with the hostess, who was not really friendly. That alone could’ve been a bad experience for us, but the rest of the staff made it so we forgot our encounter with her. Overall, (without the hostess interaction) our experience was great.More infoMiku Restaurant - VancouverPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Coal Harbour•4.8
- CCesarVancouver / British Columbia •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoMy husband and I came to Notch8's for their Autumn Afternoon Tea to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The ambiance, service and food were excellent. The moment we checked-in the front desk congratulated us on our anniversary, and so did our wonderful server. We were treated to a special anniversary dessert (not on menu) and complementary glasses of prosecco to toast with. The tea room was well decorated with an Autumn theme throughout, we are always impressed by what an amazing job they do. We had a fall wedding so this was the perfect setting for us. The menu was great with sweets and savoury options, it was hard to choose between the many great options for tea, we loved the ones we had. Overall a wonderful experience every time we come to Notch8 for tea, brunch or any special occasion.More infoAfternoon Tea - Fairmont Hotel VancouverPrice: Moderate• undefined• Downtown•4.7
