Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Hockessin

Great vibe. A good date night spot or a night out with friends. Not quiet and romantic but fun and lively. Food was delicious. Only negative was the risotto. Wasn’t a fan of it.

The manager was impressive. We were waiting for our table and he ensured we had drinks. He checked in on us twice and really listened. He introduced our waitress to us. He is a treasure.

Had an amazing time for our first experience at The Back Burner. Diana was quick to ask if it was our first time & once we said it was she talked us around the menu. Telling us that they sell crazy amounts of the “better cheddar”, you get a great amount of flatbread which has a homemade pita chip vibe. We had the crab bisque which was so good my fiancé almost forgot to share any with me! We split the wedge salad, which was so refreshing. He got the short rib and I got the salmon Wellington. We had to get all that bagged up so we could try out some dessert. We got the raspberry crème brûlée, it was so tasty.

Had a FANTASTIC 21st birthday dinner for our daughter here. What a great way to celebrate - great service, fantastic food and drinks, and gelato!!! Thanks Cafe Gelato for making the celebration a WONDERFUL TIME!

Our server Larry was knowledgeable, gracious, and checked in with our party just often enough. His service elevated our experience and he even caught in passing it was one of our birthdays. Sparkler on our shared dessert was a nice touch without making the birthday gal the center of the entire restaurant's attention.
