The Elephant Walk serves Award-Winning Cambodian and French cuisine with extensive vegetarian and gluten-free selections. Cambodian cooking is beautiful and delicious, but still rare in America. Less hot and sweet than Thai, richer and more complex than Vietnamese, the complex spice pastes that are the foundation of many Cambodian dishes reflect Cambodia’s Indian ancestry (but use fresh rather than dried spices). Our Cambodian and French selections encompass both traditional and original dishes created by our Chef Nadsa de Monteiro, who was raised in Phnom Penh speaking both Cambodian and French and subsequently lived in France for many years. Our Cambodian-and-French theme is an authentic reflection of our roots!

Committee draws inspiration from the modern day “ouzeri,” a casual meeting spot that can be found throughout Greece. It’s the kind of welcoming place where people get together to talk, relax, and bond over a fresh-made meal. Greeks know that delicious food sets the stage for a great meeting—whether you’re discussing a business deal or simply catching up with old friends. Committee, conceived by a Greek chef, embraces this tradition. Committee veers from the expected by designing its menu around “Meze”—a culinary concept that encourages people to sample and share. Our creative chefs prepare small sharable plates that are brought to the table throughout the meal, allowing diners to experience a wide range of dishes featuring only the freshest local ingredients. If unforgettable food, a fun crowd, and an electric urban scene are on your agenda, the consensus is Committee.

A warm, welcoming atmosphere at Vee Vee is set by a lot of cozy wood, warm colors and art. The warmth continued with our server, who was friendly and gave good advice when asked. As a group of four, we were able to try many dishes, and all were quite tasty. Most were mildly or moderately spicy, none strongly so; all were very flavorful. Personally, I enjoyed the beef birria tacos and the street corn the most. As a dessert lover, I also appreciated having several good choices to share as an end the meal. The beverage menu offered good options for wine, beer and cider. Including our two desserts, we shared 9 dishes among four of us, and left feeling quite sated. I felt the cost of the meal was quite reasonable for the overall high quality of food and drink. The pacing of the meal was just right. We’ll be back!
