Had our 3 teenage daughters with us and we seemed slightly out of place (not may other families) but we were welcomed and had a great time overall.More infoEpping's on EastsidePrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Lexington•4.8
- AAmandaCentral Kentucky •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTonight was our first time dining at the Andover location and I must say, I like it much more than the downtown location. First, the noise level is much better at Andover. We could easily hear each other and carry on a conversation. Secondly, I think the ambience is better. Very much a speak easy vibe. Our waitress was excellent and the food was great. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the bacon cheeseburger was excellent and the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were highlights. Skip the teriyaki sesame green beans (undercooked and over sauced), but the truffle fries were yummy! Even the bathrooms were cute (love the Golden Girls and Rat Pack themes.) The only odd thing I noticed was that the floor throughout the restaurant was super slick. I think it’s whatever they are mopping with because the floor was slick throughout. All in all, I’d definitely go back again!More infoCarson's at AndoverPrice: Expensive• American• Lexington•4.8
- SStevenCentral Kentucky •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis gem has become our go-to spot for consistently outstanding dining experiences. The menu strikes that perfect balance of quality and value – you get generous portions of expertly prepared dishes without the eye-watering prices you might find at similar establishments. The atmosphere hits all the right notes – vibrant enough to feel energetic, but you can still carry on a conversation comfortably. The dining room has a warm, welcoming buzz, especially during peak hours, with a mix of families, couples, and groups of friends creating that perfect restaurant hum. What really sets this place apart is the staff. From the host to the servers, everyone seems genuinely happy to be there and goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Even during busy rushes, the service remains attentive and personable. We've been regular customers for a while now, and the consistency keeps us coming back. Whether it's a casual weeknight dinner or a special occasion, they never disappoint. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that maintains such high standards across the board – food quality, service, atmosphere, and value. This place has rightfully earned its spot as our favorite local restaurant.More infoCarson's on MainPrice: Moderate• American• Lexington•4.8
- JJillHouston •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe arrived early for our reservation (Christmas Day) and we were immediately seated. Our server, Alicia, was fantastic! Didn't rush us, refilled drinks often, packaged up our leftovers for us at the table. The food was outstanding! The chicken parmigiana was the best we had ever tasted! Order it. We had appetizer, salads, entrees and dessert. The chocolate mousse was awesome. Everything was expertly prepared and tasted wonderful.More infoFrank and Dino'sPrice: Expensive• Italian• Lexington•4.7
- RRickCentral Kentucky •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024My wife and I had a lovely pre-Christmas dinner of duck and tri-tips with some delicious candied yams. We each had a signature cocktail that paired very well with the food. Service was very good, and the ambience was nice. Two entrees with sides and three cocktails came to around $160, which is about what you should expect for an elevated dining experience such as this.More infoGranddamPrice: Expensive• American• Lexington•4.6
