Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Standlake

First time I have been to the White Hart in many years, and I had forgotten just how special this place is. The building of course is totally unique in historical terms, and is beautifully presented, even in these mad health and safety days. The ambience is pure magic - warm and welcoming, non-intrusive but carefully chosen background music. Staff were all incredibly welcoming and once we were eating, didn't keep coming to ask "how is everything?" which really annoys me in some places. Food was 5* excellent - I am vegetarian and could not fault my Main. Two teenage kids had steak and they were very happy with theirs, which is quite unusual (either over or under done, but not here). My wife had the house G&T, and I had the house breads, both of which were amazing. Main complaint - no room for dessert! Keep it up, and we'll be back very soon!

Amazing dining experience..... absolutely beautiful food and at great value considering the quality and location. The service couldn't have been better either.

Excellent experience as ever at this lovely restaurant. Busy and lively atmosphere as we were greeted on arrival and offered good choice of tables. Prompt, friendly and helpful service throughout. My grilled octopus starter was exceptionally good and our main fish dishes - monkfish and the daily halibut special - were both delicious. Not cheap but good value. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely loved it, wonderful food so flavoursome with prompt and attentive service. I had the mushroom croqutes and belly of pork totally recommend it my wife loved her meal too. We shared the creme brule for desert. We also had a great table overlooking the river, cant fault this place at all. We cant wait to book again.

The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
