- DDonaldDenver / Colorado •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFirst time here during restaurant week and Dinner for Two did not disappoint. It was well staffed with polite and welcoming servers, the food well prepared and presented and ambiance lovely. We will definitely put this on our list next time we visit. Bananas Foster prepared table side is a fun treat and delicious!More infoDinner for TwoPrice: Moderate• Steak• Santa Fe•4.6

Our appetizers included the sashimi and fried kale, and I enjoyed the tamal. Our mains consisted of the potato-wrapped cod, the duck breast, and my selection of the lamb banana curry (going with a standby despite being tempted by several options!) The service was very attentive and appreciated, and the ambience for a dinner of friends was perfect. I also recommend the Boulevardier. For dessert we again happened to make three different choices – but each of us also chose the paired digestif. My tres leches was incredibly light (a nice change of pace compared to preparation at many other places) but I really wish I’d gotten a second glass of Moscato. Another visit here, and another reinforcement that I should dine here more often.More infoJoseph's Culinary PubPrice: Expensive• Continental• Santa Fe•4.8

The desserts reminded me of dining in Europe because many times American desserts are really sweet like sugar sweet. The desserts were flavorful and delicious. We both had the Mar y Tierra and everything from the lobster tail to the shrimp and the hanger steak were perfect. Hanger steak can be tough but you never would have believed it was hanger steak. It was so tender and the flavors of the lobster tail and shrimp were just right, great flavor without losing the pure taste of the lobster or shrimp. I had the pork appetizer and as we ate we were saying how we would be coming back. Its restaurant week so if can, make a reservation because it was only $70 for 3 courses and you will be happy you did. This is what restaurant week is about. Getting locals to try restaurants they may not otherwise. Great atmosphere and perfect for conversation.More infoTerraCotta Wine BistroPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Santa Fe•4.6

We were greeted at the door by the owner, Hue-Chan, who escorted us to our table and explained the concept of Alkemē, a blending of cultures and tastes. Our servers, Jenny and Matthew, were attentive, explained the foods and flavors really well, willingly answered questions, and provided an ideal experience, as did all the others who brought things to our table. My husband ordered Tasting Menu One, I got Two, so we each tried ten dishes. Ten exquisite dishes. I grew up with Vietnamese friends so am familiar with a few dishes; none of those served matched what I knew-but had a twist to them. How fun! Everything totally new, everything wonderful. One of my new favorite restaurants for sure! We will be back in a few weeks to try more.More infoAlkemēPrice: Very Expensive• Asian• Santa Fe•4.7
- MMarkeetaDallas - Fort Worth •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoNeeded to take a friend for a pre-concert birthday dinner-- and then found out it was Restaurant Week -- NOT my favorite time to go out to eat! Then found out from our extremely nice and professional server (sorry I can't remember her name) that we could also order from the regular menu. Our bill ended up near the same -- but we had 2 wonderful courses of our choice rather than 3 courses from a limited menu. I think the cholula has improved; the note I made the last time I went was that "it sounded better than it was." I had a couple of bites of my friend's order, and it tasted wonderful. I had the duck breast, which was cooked to scientific perfection -- fully cooked but not a minute more for a wonderful texture. Who knew the same combination in a dessert -- poblano mole ice cream, beet garnish and sweet potato chips --could taste so good and not weird? The ambiance, the food and the service -- worth every penny and calorie. In a different class than all the other "destination restaurants" I've experienced in Santa Fe.More infoSazonPrice: Very Expensive• Latin American• Santa Fe•4.8
