- HHeatherNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoBaldanza at the Schoolhouse is the best! It's head and shoulders above any other restaurant in lower Fairfield County. The food is perfectly cooked and presented every time. The attention to detail is meticulous. My water glass was refilled quickly. The staff is courteous, friendly, and efficient. Last night I had the veal parmesan with homemade pasta, it was outstanding. I always share the fritto misto with fried calamari and shrimp with friends. I had the homemade carrot cake for dessert. It was moist and dense with the right amount of cream cheese frosting and dollops of homemade whipped cream om the side. My only wish is that the dining room were quieter, it's difficult to have a conversation right across the table. My vote is 4.9 stars. I love the Schoolhouse!More infoBaldanza at the SchoolhousePrice: Expensive• American• Wilton•4.9
- MMarkVIPNew York City •26 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Bianco Rosso is a real find. It doesn’t look great and the music was too loud, but the food and the service were FANTASTIC! We live in NYC where there is no shortage of wonderful Italian restaurants. Bianco Rosso is clearly far better than most and at a much better price. I was there with my daughter for her birthday. We had a charming young lady as our server. We decided to pick two appetizers and share them. We asked our server what she would recommend and beamed and said, “Oh, the Lamb Lollipops and the Salmon Tatar!”. We took her advice. Great suggestions. Based on the strength of her recommendations, we asked her what two entrees she would recommend. Penne with sweet sausage and chicken picatta. Both outstanding. On to dessert. Profiteroles and carrot cake she said. Now this was the real test. I don’t like carrot cake and never order it. But we were on a roll, so profiteroles and carrot cake it was. Both were amazingly good. Overall, a wonderful and memorable meal! I am very glad that we found Bianco Rosso and will definitely go back.More infoBianco Rosso RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Wilton•4.7

- WWilliamNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024new holidays menu is a dramatic elevation. The chocolate cake feels like a warm embrace, and perfect finish after the steak with Brussels sprouts. The new bartender deserves a standing ovation – their Old Fashioneds are a solid 10/10.More info1920 Bar and BistroPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• East Norwalk•3.6
