We have been there 4 times and it is always a great experience . This time, we had the burrata with prosciutto, brioche bread with rosemary and honey butter, handmade pasta filled with corn, pecorino - the New York meat with mushrooms.. oh just wonderful Thank you!More infoWormwoodPrice: Very Expensive• French• North Park•4.7
- MMaiaSan Diego •22 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFriend and I visited for the Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner. It was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the lamb shank, beef filet, and added the sweet potatoes. Our onion soup and blackened shrimp appetizer choices were delicious. The pumpkin cake and apple pastry desserts were so good. The overall standout was definitely the lamb shank. Unbelievably delicious. The wine list is incredible and we complemented dinner with a lovely Napa Cabernet. The service was excellent and absolutely what you would expect. Bill, was a delight and even took a few photos of us for my visiting friend. Thank you for a wonderful Thanksgiving!More infoMister A'sPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Downtown•4.9

Service (Lelani?) was excellent. And really, i expected it to be all great for the prices they charge. And they really delivered.More infoAnimaePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Downtown•4.8
- JJoAnnvipSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoUnmatched hospitality! The server was knowledgeable about the food and able to describe them well. We didn’t have great luck with the clams, they were very chewy & overcooked but the broth was delicious. They took it back and a sweet manager, (I’m forgetting names) sent a hamachi that was to die for! Everything else that hit the table was delicious and we were very impressed. The bubbly and celebration desert was super appreciated as well. Honestly made my birthday dinner feel extra special, some places really don’t go the extra mile but they sure know how to impress.More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7
- NNataliavipSan Diego •21 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 19, 2024What can I say? This is easily one of the best happy hour spots in San Diego! The ambiance is stunning, the service is outstanding, and the food is absolutely incredible. We had yet another fantastic experience here, this time for an early dinner to celebrate my kid’s birthday. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the Japanese sweet potatoes are a must-try, the fish and chips were amazing—so fresh and moist—and the clam chowder was perfection. The smoked trout dip wasn’t my favorite this time, but it was still a solid appetizer. Our server, Mike, was exceptional—attentive, polite, and spot-on with his food recommendations. We’ll definitely be back, and if you’ve never been to this place, make a reservation now. You can thank me later!More infoIronside Fish & OysterPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Little Italy•4.4
