Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields.     Food is so good!!! We shared the beet salad, a margherita pizza, the butternut squash raviolis and the gnocchi. I am bot generally a fan of gnocchi but these were pure heaven! Okenty of ootions for our vegetarian party of 4. Drinks and dessert werre a smash hit too!

    Greens never fails to impress. The food is spectacular and each dish is different and delicious. We were a party of four and ordered everything to share, which was absolutely the way to go. The service was also phenomenal. I have celiac and we had another allergy in our group as well and the kitchen caught a potential concern and circled back with us so we could change our order. I can’t eat everywhere, so it’s such a treat to visit a restaurant where I can relax and safely enjoy the experience. Greens is a San Francisco institution at this point, but it has done an amazing job throughout the years of evolving and staying fresh and current. Always a treat to eat here!

    Great lunch experience and they have a huge menu and lots of options for lunch sets. If you don't want to do hibachi they have lunch options with sushi, sashimi, poke, and even noodles. Everyone found something for them and enjoyed lunch together.

    What a gem of a family restaurant! My husband and I went here before going to a play at the SF Playhouse. The owner served us at the bar. He was so gracious, friendly and attentive. His family members were equally welcoming and lovely. I consider myself to be a bit of a Greek food snob. My mom was from Greece originally and I travel there often. I am always looking for good Greek food in the States. The Parthenon exceeded my expectations. Every dish was outstanding. It’s rare to find a kebab that is not too dry. The lamb kebab was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Pastitsio was delicious and fresh. The tzatziki was great and their own house dipping sauce for pita was even better. If you go, best to go on the early side or make a reservation as this place has been discovered and gets packed. We were there when they opened at 5 because of the timing of our play. By a little after 6 they were already busy. We will definitely be returning!

    I’ve been to Anchovies Bar on numerous occasions and ALL of it, from the food, service and ambiance, it is top of the line. It’s anchovy season so get there now if you want a real”party in your mouth” experience! The anchovies were incredible and Chef Stuart brings them up to a whole different level w/his amazing and delicious recipes. HIGHLY recommend this place, you’ll be a return customer, it’s all about the seafood!
