Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Boca Raton

Wow! First of all I was expecting the restaurant in itself to be small because of the looks of the entrance but I think it’s like a trick to fool you at first because once you get to the place in itself it is HUGE! And the vibes are amazing! The music is so good and just the right volume, the hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating, they have sitting indoors and outdoors and indoors/outdoorsy which is also a surprise factor. We started the evening with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and some of their Sweet Petites oysters. We the ordered a second round because the oysters were phenomenal but this time we went with (3) Bar stools and (3) Mamma Mia! (Yes, oysters that were also amazing SPECIALLY the bar stools!) Our server Valeria was a sweetheart and made the best recommendations for the oysters and the food, we were a little shy to ask but before we could even stress out about asking for the best dishes she read our minds and gave us an incredible walkthrough of the best items on the menu and popular amongst guests. We ordered the crab cake (it’s a classic, a must truly) and when I tell you all I could say throughout the entire night was WOW! I am not exaggerating at all, this place is incredible and I hope as a local you are definitely holding loyalty for it SEAFOOD wise because it really should be the only place you are visiting. The Crab Cake is usually two but we only got one since we didn’t know if it was going to fill us up and didn’t wanted to waste food THAT WAS A HUGE mistake we later regretted after taking the first bite of this amazing heavenly crab cake, never again eating this dish anywhere else. The French fries are also made from scratch and they are perfect NOT GREASY at all, right on point with the salt and crispy outside with a very good fluffy situation inside. Loch bar was without a doubt one of those spots you have been neglecting for a while not knowing the treasure hidden inside.

Visited this place for the first time and is definitely a hidden gem. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend trying the carbonara if you like white pasta, the prosciutto e arugula pizza, and their tiramisu is a must try. Overall I had a great experience!!

We had dinner here on Christmas and had requested a corner to tuck away our newborn in her stroller, on our reservation notes, and to my surprise they did. The food was amazing. The mussels were so delicious and actually had the flavor from the broth. The octopus was so tender and not remotely chewy. The steak was so delicious, my 5 year olds came out a perfect medium and she nearly finished it, my husbands did come out well done instead of medium but he still ate the whole thing cuz somehow it was still juicy and he enjoyed it so we didn’t mention it to our server. My oldest orders spaghetti and meatballs everywhere we go and this is the first time I wasn’t disappointed with her decision, the meatbal was ridiculously tender I think it was made with veal. Coconut cake was huge 5 of us couldn’t finish it, although I wanted to it was so light and creamy custardy. I got eggplant parm it was huge and so flavorful. We will definitely be back. The ambiance was nice dim lighting. The place was packed and it still wasn’t too loud we were able to comfortably talk and hear each other. The only thing disappointing were the bathrooms. Out server had great knowledge of the menu and in a busy night was still able to give great service.

First time there and it sis not disappoint. Bring your wallet because it’s not inexpensive but the food was fantastic. Stuffed zucchini flowers, calamari and octopus salad were off the chart.

I was pleasantly surprised they were open for lunch on Christmas Eve, but they did not advertise it, and there was only one other table there. The meal was perfect, as always. We had excellent service and an attentive manager. We felt very special, but we felt bad that they had to work just for us.
