Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Coal Harbour

When we were lead to our table we were offered to check our coats. The atmosphere was lively and very busy. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started off sharing a Crab Cake, It was very tender and hot. I had the Filet Mignon with Béarnaise sauce and my wife had the Salmon Wellington with a Tarragon sauce(not Béarnaise). Both dinners were very good. I guess my only complaint would be the vegetables were under done, they were still crunchy. The desserts were incredible. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Vancouver.

He was not only attentive and caring but also incredibly thoughtful with his recommendations. His warm and welcoming demeanor made our first meal in Vancouver a highlight of our trip. We came to celebrate Christmas and the servers is great! Waiter missed some dishes but it’s all good! Really enjoy the atmosphere there! Will definitely go back! Love the steak!!

Hys is always a fantastic meal. The cheesebread is so addictive. Open flame steak gives a perfect char. What made this night was the service. Our server was Andrew and he was amazing. Not just a great server, his recommendations for drinks/food were perfect. I've been to Hys a bunch of times but Andrew made this special.

We had a very friendly waiter, take about services with a smile, he has done it above and beyond and is a joy to see. The ambience is there, right around the bar area and we can see the bartender focusing on making his concoctions with care and love. The food is excellent especially the apple tartan with the added touch of vanilla ice cream!
