Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in El Cajon / Lakeside

Our visit was Thanksgiving and was very busy. Everyone we met from the front desk to our server was professional and friendly. Some of our group had the turkey dinner, which was sooo good! Some people had NY steak, others the ribeye. Everyone said the meat was cooked exactly how they requested. The entire experience was very pleasant and we will be back.

This was our third Thanksgiving we have had the buffet at the La Mesa El Torito and every time it has been excellent. The food is awesome with a mix of Mexican cuisine and traditional holiday favorites. Their staff is very friendly and the waiters make sure you are well taken care of.

We almost always have a great time and meal at The Brig , as many of us call it! Three good friends decided to have fun and carefree lunch during the holiday week and Julia, our server put the whole experience over the top with her humor, professionalism, and attention to detail. Give that woman a raise and keep up the great work…and thank you for making our lunch extra special!

Great food! We got Chicken Tinga Tacos and Sirloin enchiladas. My $5 Margarita was beautifully presented. There being a slight chill in the air, I was given a cozy, bright red throw to put over my legs. A delightful and tasty experience.

Great place to watch a Padre game with family or friends. Great energy and the service is amazing. Definitely coming back for game 4!
