Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Fisherman's Wharf

Excellent food and fantastic service! It's a regular stop for my 95 year old cousin and we always join when in town. Nothing is cheap especially in SF but fact is for the excellence this restaurant is a good deal.....paid similar for much less quality and service in other Sf restaurants. If you want a excellent Italian restaurant with great service, excellent food and a very pleasant and authentic antmosphere this is a must go!

Lovely ambiance!! I requested ,on Open Table a window view for a table of 10. We got that in a private room. This being a birthday lunch, the privacy was wonderful!!! The food was delicious and served immediately after we were seated! This because we were the first round. Our reservation was 11:00; we were asked if we could vacate the room by 12:30. That was fine since since we were served so quickly (yet courteously). Peking Duck with buns..superb! All other dim sum items outstanding and authentic. Suggestion: If you have a large party of 10 or more, go early!!! The restaurant was bustling with every table occupied by 11:00 that morning!

All the staffs are very courteous, nice, friendly and notice details quickly. From the starter, Oysters were fresh, and with the seaweed vinaigrette, it elevated the oyster a lot. With the frog leg, the meat is so tender and juicy. Sauce on the side offers a nice acidity touch for fried dish. I loved the fact that they took inspiration from Nashville Hot Chicken and curated to their own version, everything on the plate were seasoned perfectly even with the pickle they served on the side. Grilled half sea bream was wonderful, I can taste the charbroiled flavor. Fish was very crispy,meaty, juicy and buttery. With the Meyer lemon herb salad, it definitely made the dish more refreshing. Overall, I really enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you for everything and for sure I will come back soon.

I brought my family into SF for a few days of shopping and fun to break up the holidays. We live in Marin and are picky about driving into the city for dinner. Being a native born San Franciscan and resident in SF / Marin my whole life, La Mar proved a great pick. My wife, my two grown daughters and I will definitely return. La Mar - great spot and thanks for a wonderful dinner!

We loved the live musical performance! The tropical atmosphere feels like being on vacation in Hawaii!
