- AAshleyNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a reservation for three and we’re seated on-time in the main dining room. We started off with cocktails and the Waygu Beer Carpaccio dish with beets. The appetizer was absolutely delicious with the acid of the beets nicely pairing with the flavors of the thinly sliced Waygu beef… the dish was topped with fried shallots that provided a nice texture as well as additional flavor profiles. Our second course was the Turtle Soup. The soup was absolutely delicious with pulled meat in the dish along with a nice amount of dry sherry… we had the same soup the night before at Commander’s and Atchafalaya made this dish much better!!! For the meal, I had the pan seared Gulf fish. The fish was prepared to perfection… my husband and father had the Duck Confit which was as also perfectly done. The wait staff was wonderful… they kept the water glasses and wine glasses full and offered insightful comments on the menu items. Overall the meal was fantastic… the ambience and noise level were great… we were able to enjoy a meal together with a wonderful conversation even my father with hearing aides was able to hear the conversation and participate! I highly recommend Atchafalaya for that special meal or just a night out with the girls… you will love your meal and experience.More infoAtchafalaya RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Garden District•4.9
- DDianeNew Orleans / Louisiana •28 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely outstanding. The drink specials were awesome, the apps shared were crawfish beignets, Brussels sprouts and fig and goat cheese flat bread were top notch. Entrees varied and enjoyed by all: chicken sandwich, redfish dish, short rib dish, steak &. Frites, gumbo, beet salad and scallion soup. Desserts were the finishing touches. All plates were cleared and we left very happy and satisfied.More infoCopper VinePrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Central Business District•4.8
- AAshleyNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoBrennan’s is always a good choice for brunch! The dining area started off quiet… but got a bit noisy towards the end. I wish there was better noise absorbing surfaces to help manage the noise levels… my 70+ Father who joined my husband and I for brunch really struggled to hear us and had to keep adjusting his hearing aides to be able to try and enjoy our conversations… The food and service did not disappoint! I had the Crab & Avocado toast with a poached egg on top, my husband had the Duck Confit Hash and my father had the Eggs St. Charles. All were very good! We ordered the Brabant Potatoes for the table…. And as always they were out of this world!!! The coffee was brewed to perfection and the service was impeccable… overall a great meal, just a little noisy.More infoBrennan'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.8
- TTonyaNew Orleans / Louisiana •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst time visiting Morrow/Steak. When I walked into the restaurant, both hostesses looked at me, but did not say anything which was surprising. The restaurant is beautiful. Very nicely decorated and has a nice laid back atmosphere. Background music was at the right volume so that conversation could be had. Everything we ordered was delicious. Fat Boi roll, Surf and Turf roll, and turducken dumplings were very tasty. Three of us ordered the ribeye, which again we agreed was delicious, but two of the three steaks had an unprofessional trim which was a bit off putting and were overcooked to desired temperature. Others had the lamb chops, cooked perfectly, and the stuffed chicken which was also very good. Overall, it’s was a good dining experience and we will return.More infoMorrow SteakPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Central Business District•4.6
- MMichaelVIPNew Orleans / Louisiana •46 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI’ve submitted several reviews, as I eat here a good bit. It’s silly excellent, still my favorite. There’s a wide variety of Gulf oysters from which to choose. The seafood gumbo is my favorite in the city, really rich & full of protein. I had the Speckled Trout Amandine, which I had not tried before, & it was quite good. In short, it’s always a great meal at Luke, & I’ll keep coming back until they give me a reason not to.More infoLukePrice: Moderate• French• Central Business District•4.6
