Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in West Haven

Delicious food pleasant service nice ambiance and cool seasoned popcorn instead of bread to start. No complains highly recommend! We got the Mac and cheese and Asian sticky ribs both were delicious!

Wonderful place - amazing drinks, inventive food. Occasionally the food has been a bit more inventive than tasty, but I can count the times that has been an issue on one hand - really a great new(er) spot in New Haven - ALSO THEY HAVE A PARKING LOT. Great service, chefs that know what they are doing, and wonderful drinks. Very much recommend.

We had an issue with seating (I requested no high top chairs and our table had them). They took care of this right away. Service and food awesome, though we weren’t expecting a limited and price increased selection menu (it was Valetines Day but I saw no mention of this on their website or FB). Noise level was pretty high due to a musician that was singing this evening. Overall was still a great experience. I’ve been here many times and will definitely return.

Overall it was an excellent dinner. We were worried about it being Valentine’s Day so we made an early reservation & we were able to be fed & get out before the rush. Our server did well but she was a bit shy& meek. Combined with the sitting right under a music speaker, we could barely hear her. We chose to share 2 “salads” & 3 tapas. The Brussels sprouts & the squash blossoms were perfectly seasoned, well constructed, & delicious. The hanger steak was amazing. The potatoes it came served over were blah. They did not have a good texture nor were they seasoned how we would typically like them. I feel like they missed the mark with this accompaniment, especially since the hanger steak was so good. The lamb lollipops were cooked to a perfect medium & the mint jelly/pepper jelly sauce was outstanding. The duck confit eggrolls were crispy & full, but flavorless. We would not order these again. I shouldn’t need a side sauce to enjoy them. We will be back to try some other items!

The server we had was absolutely amazing. I do not know how name but I recall he was bald. He made the entire experience for my brother and I amazing. Thank you so much! Everything was super clean including bathrooms. Loved my lasagna and meatballs. The tres leches cake good. Thank you! Overall great experience. Parking we found in a paid garage not too far from the restaurant but there is also paid parking across the street I believe.
