Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Leawood

Used a gift certificate that also got us 2 $10 certificates to use after 1/1/25. Unlike some times past, they were very liberal about substitutions for asides. Only negative was that the stuffed chicken was just slightly dry.

The food was very good and I appreciated the server(s) that visited my table. However, the noise was seemingly excessive. I sat in the dining room and it was just a little more lively than I would have liked. Would not recommend proposing in this environment but a dinner with colleagues or friends would be great.

My second lunch at Plate Italiano Moderno - Leawood. I was even more impressed this time. I ordered a pasta dish the first time and this visit the mushroom pizza was calling my name. It was delicious! To visit any restaurant during the holiday season I expect the noise level to be unbearable. I was pleasantly surprised that despite the number of large groups surrounding our two-top, we were able to converse fairly well.

Tori was the best server we’ve ever had at your lovely establishment She went above & beyond in providing excellent support & suggestions for entrees plus attentive to refilling drinks extra biscuits w/ yummy butter & the desert was divine I have seafood allergies so she was careful to check & recheck my custom pasta w/ grilled chicken was created perfectly & so delicious. Thank you for a enjoyable birthday dinner

I really liked this restaurant. The location is convenient and really nice with lots of shops and activities around. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The manager also stopped by to see how we liked everything. The food was delicious as well as the dessert. We will definitely be coming back.
