It was a vibe ✨ My girl V deserves the world with hosting my fiancé and I. She was able to match us with some of the best recommendations in the house. Although they do not serve food, they have bomb kettle cooked chips and V will recommend the best Chinese restaurant that deliver. For our drinks we had; keep it peachy, give me butterflies, & others. 10/10 must try spot; tell Veronica the two moms never made it to that club 👀, she’ll know exactly what I’m taking about. I was taken aback with all the security in front of the restaurant. Made me question the environment inside of the restaurant. Then they patted my date down! For dinner?! It was 7:30 pm, not 2am in front of a nightclub. I was so confused. If we didn't have to leave a deposit when making the reservation, we would have left. However, once inside, the restaurant was pretty empty and quite lovely. The service was prompt and professional. My drink (Sexxy red) was absolutely delicious. The appetizer was fresh, and so tasty. Our entrée did not disappoint. We were very happy with the service and food and so glad we did not allow the initial impression turn us away from such a wonderful experience and amazing food.

As always, our experience at Ted’s bulletin was superlative. First and most important, the food is outstanding. And the desserts are even better, especially the carrot cake and the chocolate cake. Loved my snowball for nostalgic reasons. Be sure to get a milkshake. And the cornbread sticks. And the brussels sprouts. We ate at Ted’s four times in the four days we visited DC. The manager was so gracious in giving us a table on our fourth day as we were short on time before leaving for the airport. The staff were already beginning to recognize us. Can’t wait to visit DC again so we can eat at Ted’s at least once every day of our trip. And take home more desserts.
