La Cosecha is a local neighborhood Mexican restaurant. La Cosecha or " The Harvest" is a brevity of our stance to bring forward dishes inspired from interior Mexican cuisine; all while utilizing seasonal and local Texas ingredients. The menu centers around sharable dishes, progressing from small to large, with intentions to create a family setting at the dinner table. The food and drink invites you to experience familiar comforts, as well as original flavors, all to tell a story that is modest yet thoughtful. Buen Provecho!

"Where craft meets quality. An evening at Sidecar, located in the heart of New Braunfels at the historic Prince Solms Inn, is like stepping back in time. The ambiently lit speakeasy features an extensive whiskey selection, live jazz and fantastic tapas. Whether you're enjoying the live music downstairs or imbibing in one of the private party rooms upstairs, the beauty of the building does not disappoint."

Claire was our lovely, knowledgeable waitperson. She recommended great cocktails. We started out with the deviled eggs, with bacon. We had bbq meatloaf, ribeye, salmon, chicken fried chicken and a burger. All were very good, although the chicken was a tad overcooked. We finished off the evening with strawberry cake, the birthday girl's favorite cake. It was a delightful evening

Started at the bar where service was quick and drinks were perfect. Chef’s special was Sea Bass over linguine alla puttanesca. Fabulous pairing with a nice red wine. Service was excellent and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Beautiful ambiance! They had a live jazz band playing, and they were incredible! Our server was wonderful, although we didn’t catch her name. I wasn’t super impressed with the lobster rolls, although they were still quite tasty, the presentation, left something to be desired, definitely didn’t think they were worth the price. And they were all out of the crème brûlée.😢 But all over the drinks were fantastic and that’s really what we came for! All in all it was a lovely night and a good experience!
