Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Palm Desert

My boyfriend and I just recently moved to the La Quinta area and we’ve been looking for new restaurants to try. Ristorante Mamma Gina was exceptional! The food was delicious and plated so beautifully. Our server Aaron was incredibly kind and took such great care of us. He recommended a Cabernet that I ended up having 2 glasses of. We will definitely be back. :)

We booked dinner for Valentine’s Day because they did not have a preset menu. We started with cocktails then shared a really nice meal. The servers were pleasant and food brought out when we wanted. They did not rush us on a busy night! It was lovely.

Our Valentine's dinner was perfect from start to finish. Initial service was prompt as we were seated and our wine arrived in short order. The strawberry bruschetta appetizer was a nice touch. We followed with a Caesar salad ,nice and fresh with an anchovy garnish. We opted for medium rare Steak entrees garnished with Brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes. Perfect. The environment is casual dining and a lively ambience. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome and appreciated.

How good is the food? We ate there Monday and again Friday (Valentine's Day) We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed different dishes each time and thought each of them was wonderful. This last visit, our server, Jan, recognized us and expressed her pleasure at our return. Moreover, when she brought the desserts we had ordered, she also treated us to an amazing chocolate mousse as a thank-you for returning so soon. Do yourselves a favor and dine at Mimmo's

This was my first time, dining here, and I have to say that it was truly a lovely experience from walking through the doors… so much ambience, and very elegant in its presentation. Not only did everything look lovely on the menu, but it tasted just as delicious as it sounded. The service was lovely and I would definitely consider coming back here again for a special occasion.
