Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Sunnyvale

We enjoyed our lunch at Puesto Santa Clara. The guacamole was very good. I enjoyed my kale salad, and my colleagues enjoyed their taco dishes. The only drawback was the service. We had to ask three times to have our guacamole served, and the service was slow. It was a busy lunch hour, so that may explain the delay. Overall, I recommend Puesto and will return.

With reservations, we waited less than 5 minutes. We were lucky to get Monalisa as our waitress as she was amazingly fast and helpful, and our Chef Luis was so fun and was joking around with everyone at the table, but especially with my son. It was a great experience that was significantly different than our experience on Valentines Day. This was a huge turn around from that and it was such a much nicer time. This was definitely the kind of experience we hope we will always get every visit.

Celebrated my mom's birthday at Fleming's Steakhouse. It was Tomahawk Tuesday when we came. Overall experience was excellent and food is delicious.

The Oxford Pub was the proverbially "needle in the haystack!" WHAT A FIND!!! My guest and I were fortunate to sit outside on a sunny afternoon and now that Murphy Street has been closed to traffic and turned into a pedestrian walkway, even made it more delightful! I was looking for something different and found it! More surprising was the twists in flavor, ingredients and presentation on common dishes such as fried calamari strips, beef stroganoff bowl and tri-tip sandwiches. Fresh, hot, tasty and to top it off a great selection of beers to accompany the food. I tried their "seasonal roundtable' and was served a bourbon-barrel stout that blew my mind and tastebuds! In short, if you are tired of the "same o - same-o" for menu items, I invite you to sample what is on The Oxford Pub's menu for a welcomed surprise!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

Excellent, attentive service. Our quiet, corner table was roomy and conducive to conversation. The staff was friendly. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
