I would 100.000% recommend this place. My first time experience in New Orleans and booked a couple of tourist places to go to. I was with my 16 year old daughter on this trip. I appreciated their customer service I didn’t like the table I was initially taken to but it was not a problem when I asked for another table and they didn’t make it an issue. My waiters working together Lionel and Monique made it the best day for us. Super friendly, efficient and going the extra mile to make us feel at home. I even taught Monique a couple of my native language Xhosa phrases. The trio band was the cherry on top. They performed my song request and were happy to take photos with us. The food was great too.

Great service today on Christmas day! So busy but servers were awesome. I messed up on timing of my reservation but they worked hard to accommodate my mistake. Food was great and good quantity.

We (7 of us) ate at Luke on Christmas Day. We were seated near the door which wasn’t ideal but wasn’t bad. The streetcar periodically going by made the noise level high because of our proximity to the door. The service was excellent in spite of it being a holiday and the restaurant being packed. The menu had nice variety. The two best items we had were the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Matzo Ball Soup. The worst thing we had was the Hanger Steak. It was ordered “medium” and came out bleeding. It was also rubbery. We returned it and that person ordered something else. They were completely okay with this and removed it from the bill. The Trout Almandine was good with the fish being extremely fresh. We recommend Luke and will return.

Had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner at The Palace Cafe. The interior was gorgeously decorated for the holidays. The crabmeat cheesecake really is out of this world. The bread pudding was also a stand out! Impeccable service too!

My husband and I came to the restaurant to pay homage to the great Chess Master, Paul Morphy, and the restaurant was a way to visit the place. The house belonged to the prominent Morphy family and they have a small room dedicated to him with a chess board and a photo of the great Chess Master. Brennan's is THE place to have brunch! They are justly famous for the quality of the food. AMAZING: Blueberry Cornmeal Cake, Seafood Gumbo, Eggs Sardou, Eggs Hussarde, all the sides and try the New Orleans Style Coffee.
