Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Wedgewood

The food was amazing! We had an assortment of items from the menu and our expectations were exceeded for every single choice. From the Jerk Chicken Noodle Soup to the Southern Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Jerk Lamb Chops, Cinnamon Roll Waffles... we're still trying to decide what our favorite part of the meal was - all of it was my favorite!

Sea Grill had been on my list of places to try since they opened and they did not disappoint. We went last night on a Wednesday which is a great day and special to try out. We were sat downstairs which is small and very intimate. I almost felt I had to whisper in between the music. The restaurant is nicely decorated and saw an upstairs but can’t speak on that portion. The Wednesday special includes a three course meal for only $100. I believe his name was Tyler that was our waiter who was pleasant and had great suggestions when asked. My daughter ordered a Mango sunrise which is an entire sushi roll with shrimp tempura, we ordered the Branzino as the second course(this course is shared so have to decide together). She also needed with the cherry chocolate trifle. I hade the ceviche and crème brûlée for first and third course. I also have a lychee martini which was top tier and balanced. Everything was phenomenal. The Branzino with roasted vegetables and a caper lemon butter sauce was the star of the show. The presentation was nice, the staff took care in filleting the fish and deboning as well as serving. The fish and vegetables were seasoned to perfection. The service was also delicious. I tasted part of my daughter’s mango roll and that was tasty as well. I will say the only thing I did not care for was her trifle, it had a tart, so cream taste in the cream. I felt the service was a little slow for the amount of people there but everything else was so good, I could not take away a star. This place is located in the Epic Center. I parked in the attached parking garage and paid $12 for two hours. In conclusion, Wednesday is a great day for the special to try out. I will also return for brunch and dinner again.

The food was very good, and I like the atmosphere. The restaurant wasn't busy and it the service was a bit slow, and things didn't come out orderly. Other than that good experience.

It was my friends birthday and the entire team at O-Ku made her feel extra special. The host, the busers, wait staff, etc everyone said happy birthday…it was even on the menu. And they brought a birthday dish that was delicious, South End Shrimp, order it!!! Also they were out of her favorite roll (potato roll) bc they have to roll it before shift it is so intricate, we were bummed but moved on everything was so good. Towards the end of the meal they brought out a potato roll they rolled especially for us! Amazing! I rarely give words reviews but Mayling and team were awesome. Thank you!!

Staff was great. Truly great. The rooms are a little loud when multiple tables are set. The outside area looked very nice. The appetizers and salads were extremely good. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the burger with fries. The shrimp and grits were OK at best. We only ate half of the burgers. The fries were on point.
