Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We have seating available in our large dining room, our bar & lounge, a seasonally-opened outdoor area, and a small private dining space available for intimate dinner parties. We are conveniently located on 36th Street, commonly known as "the Avenue" in Hampden. Metered parking is available in a full lot in the rear of the restaurant as well as the front and surrounding streets. Entrances are located at both the front and rear and are easily accessible for all.

    We had a reservation so we were seated quickly. Our server came right over and took our drink orders. The BlackBerry Sangria was amazing! The bread was delicious and the salad was ok(not a fan of vinegrette). Our steak was prepared as each of us requested. It was delicious! The special sauce was very tasty! Much to our surprise they came around with another round of steak and fries (which my mom and I boxed up as we were full). I highly recommend Medium Rare if you enjoy steak in a nice atmosphere!

    Everything was great. We were there for happy hour and there were half priced drinks and food. We got Brussels sprouts, quesadillas, truffle fries, and blackberry tequila lemonade crushes for happy hour prices and a chicken sandwich and left with food. It was all amazing.

    Food, service,atmosphere, was top tier, I would definitely be back.. and definitely will be referring my friends, and family members.. and the server was the greatest, love their energy, the whole experience was a vibe, came down with my co-workers and celebrated my birthday and the new adventure of one of our team members.. just was amazing definitely a 10 and beyond all across the board .
